  Myhometown Gaochun is an old and beautiful city. It used to be quiet place. Therewere green hills, fresh air and many old houses. However, the area has changeda lot over the years. Now there are many new squares, new roads and a lot oftall buildings.   In the past, people could only go to there bybicycle or on foot. Many buses pass there now, people can take the taxi, car,bus, underground or light rail to Gaochun, and it is faster and easier to getthere. The environment has also changed, too. The water is clearer, the tree isgreener, and the air is fresher. We are happy to live in the beautiful city.

  我的家乡高淳是一个古老而美丽的城市。以前它是一个很安静的地方。有绿色的山，新鲜的空气和许多老房子。然而，这几年这里发生了很大的变化。如今有很多新广场，新道路和高楼大厦。

  过去人们只能去骑自行车或者走路去那里。现在有很多公共汽车都到那，人们可以乘坐出租车，小车，公共汽车，地铁或轻轨到高淳。和以前相比现在去那儿更快更容易了。环境也发生了变化。水更清了，树更绿了，空气更清新了。住在这座美丽的城市我们都很高兴。

  Myhometown is located at the outside of the city. I was born and grew up there.It was a little village with natural scenery of green mountains, a beautifulriver and lovely village houses. In the summer, I liked to go to picnic underthe mountain and swim in the river. But now my hometown has changes. Themountains were blown down to build the factories, and the river was polluted bythe waste water from those factories. There are no more green mountains but thesmoking factories. The water of the river turns black and stinks, I can neverswim in it again. And the village houses are gone too, the ugly storied houseswith walls are instead.

They said it is the way urbanizing is. Idon’t like the changes of my hometown, it is a polluted hometown.

  我的家乡坐落在城市外。我在那里出生和长大。它是一个小村庄，有着绿色的山、美丽的`河还有漂亮的小屋的自然的风景。夏天里，我喜欢去山脚下野炊，到河里游泳。但是现在我的家乡变了。群山被炸平用来建工厂，河水被这些工厂里的废水所污染。再也没有绿色的山，只有冒着烟的工厂。河里的水变成黑色还散发恶臭，我再也不能在里面游泳了。还有那些小屋也消失了，取而代之的是丑陋的带围墙的楼房。他们说这就是城市化。我不喜欢家乡的变化，这是一个被污染了的家乡。

  Withthe rapid development of the society,many things around our life are changed.Personally speaking, my hometown haschanged a lot.

  WhenI was a child, there was only one blackand white TV set in our village. And Idon’t know what’s computer. I often wentto school on foot. What’s more, insummer, we had to use hand-made fans to makeour temperature down. If I wantedto connect with the distant friends orrelatives, the most convenient wayiswriting letters, which may lost on the way or take a lot of time to reachthedestination.

  However,nowadays, there are four colortelevisons in my home and most people have theirown computers. And now carsare seen everywhere. In addition, most houses haveairconditioning, which cancool the whole house quickly. With the development ofcell phone, people canreach each other in a second. They can talk or see eachother through cellphone.

  Astime passes, my hometown has change alot thanks to the social development. Ibelieve there will be much more changesin the future.  

随着社会的快速发展，我们生活中的许多事物都改变了。

就我个人而言，我的家乡已经发生了巨大的变化。

  当我还是个孩子的时候，我们村只有一台黑白电视机。我不知道什么是计算机。我经常走路去学校。更重要的是，在夏天，我们不得不用手工扇来祛热。如果我想和远方的朋友或亲戚联系，最方便的方法就是写信，可是信很可能会在路上弄丢了或需要花很长的时间才能到达目的地。

  但是，现在，我的家里有四台彩色电视机，而且大多数人都有他们自己的电脑。现在小车也是随处可见的。此外，大多数房子都有可以使整个房子快速凉快的空调。随着手机的发展，人们可以立刻联系到任何人。他们可以通过手机看到对方或者聊天。

  随着时间的流逝，由于社会的发展我的家乡已经发生了很

大的变化。我相信将来会发生更大的变化。
